Honey Hole Apiary Best Local Honey in the Tri State Area

Have you been wondering what it’s like to keep bees but don’t have the expertise, proper equipment or time?  Host a honey bee hive for Honey Hole Apiary instead. Hive hosting is easy and FUN for the entire family.

Hive hosting lets you experience what it’s like to keep bees without all the work or having to open a hive. All you need to do is provide a bee safe location, free of pesticides, a suitable water source and access to the designated area and we’ll provide the honey bees and everything  need to a thriving honey bee colony. The bees and equipment remain ours but in return you’ll reap the benefits of outstanding pollination and helping the honey bee population,  all without the training and hassle of opening a hive full of bees.  Once the colony produces more honey than the bees need, we’ll extract the extra honey and share a case, (12 pint jars) of raw, free honey. If your hive fails or does not make any extra honey that year (which sometimes happens) you will receive two jars of honey from one of the other hives in our colonies. If you love local honey, you can’t get honey any closer than your own backyard!

Hosting a hive is a great way to help increase the honeybee population in your local area.  Honeybees are struggling in our modern society due to pesticides, mono crops, parasitic diseases and pests. By hosting a honeybee hive in your own backyard, you can do your part to help save the honey bees one colony at a time.

Honeybees need excellent sources of pollen and nectar, that are free of pesticides, to stay healthy and thrive. If you have either an organic farm, or a pesticide-free yard or garden, or an area full of fruit trees or native flowering plants, or even a flat roof with flowering vegetation nearby, you have the perfect home for honeybees. By providing a honeybee colony with any of these safe locations you will soon reap the benefits of  higher produce yields, more abundant flowers, and you will be doing your part to help save the honeybees one colony at a time.
